An experience worth sharing
We start near Lake Minnewaska and move into the rocky Shawangunk landscape, where forest paths open onto broad cliff-top viewpoints. The signature route leads toward Gertrude’s Nose and rewards the effort with some of the most memorable views in the preserve.
The exact route can be adjusted to the group and trail conditions. Expect uneven rock, exposed viewpoints, and plenty of stops for photos.
